BY BRIAN LEZUTUNI Local farmers from Tasimboko are calling for a joint –collaboration between their Member of Parliament and Prime Minister Dr Derek Sikua and their Provincial member to assist in upgrading the road, which has been described as un-usable. John Sura, a local farmer from the area said the Tasimboko road is among three that have dilapidated after non-maintenance over the last four years. Mr. Sura said Potholes are causing much inconvenience to vehicle owners who used the road to transport farmers and their produce into Honiara city. “We have also gone our way in creating bush roads as an option for travelling on the Tasimboko road,” he added. He called for urgent action on repairing the roads as the next general election closes in and the term of both politicians wind up.
