AN ADULT man paid a fine of $500 in the Honiara Magistrate Court yesterday for failing to produce his drving license and displaying his license on his vehicle.
Police doing road checks in Honiara found that Solomon Pegoa did not have his driving license with him and had not displayed license on his vehicle.
Police issued a PF66 form that required him to produce his license at the Police station within three days but he failed to do so.
He was arrested and charged by Police on March 12 in Honiara.
He was charged with one count of failure to driving and display of license on vehicle.
He pleaded guilty to the charges in the Magistrate Court yesterday.
Magistrate Esther Lelapitu imposed a $200 for the first charge and failing to do so will earn him 20 days in prison.
Pegoa paid a fine of $300 indefault for failing to display license on his vehicle.
